Description   The challenge facing every parent is to help our kids mature as they encounter different challenges throughout their youth sports experience. Every parent desires to be a positive influence in the lives of their children, however, the older our children become the more difficult it is to translate our positive intention into life-enhancing experiences with our kids. Many kids give their parents the impression that they are disinterested in their opinions by becoming oppositional or apathetic. Because of this dynamic, parents are left with no real "manual" on how to proceed and become frustrated, disappointed, and often times manipulative and controlling in an attempt to find their way back to influence with their children. Our High Impact Parent Mentoring includes eight (8) one-on-one weekly appointments with an XL Athlete Mental Edge Performance Coach that are intended to equip parents with the skills and understanding needed to enjoy their kid's youth sport/life experience, capitalize on teachable moments, and work cooperatively with coaches while enhancing the parent-child relationship for the long haul.
